A native of Queens, New York, Dr. Shimunov earned his dental degree from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. His extensive medical background serves as the foundation for his comprehensive and highly technical dental education. Further enhancing his skills, Dr. Shimunov completed his residency in General Dentistry at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center.
